Frequently asked questions
How is the BhagyAstro horoscope written?
Each reading is generated from the real positions of the planets for that day, counted as houses from your Moon sign, using the classical gochar (transit) rules of Phaladeepika. We show which transit produces each statement, so you can see why the day looks the way it does.
Should I read my Sun sign or Moon sign?
In Vedic astrology the Moon sign (Rashi) is used for horoscopes. If you only know your Western Sun sign, find your Moon sign with our free calculator — it is often different.
When does the daily horoscope change?
Daily readings follow the Indian day: they are calculated for sunrise in New Delhi (IST). If the Moon changes sign during the day, the reading tells you when.
Is a sign-based horoscope accurate for me personally?
A Moon-sign horoscope captures the transits that affect everyone with that Rashi. Your full birth chart, running dasha and ascendant change how strongly they show up, so use it as general guidance.
