About Sankashti Chaturthi

Sankashti Chaturthi is the fourth tithi of the dark fortnight, dedicated to Lord Ganesha as the remover of obstacles. When it falls on a Tuesday it is called Angarki Sankashti.

How it is observed

Devotees fast until moonrise, worship Ganesha in the evening and break the fast after sighting the Moon and offering arghya to it.
